Just finished this for my cousin's new grandbaby. It was my first 'big' project and I just love it! I can't wait to make more of them, but I need more babies in my circle of friends and family. The pattern can be found here: E-PatternsCentral Click on the pictures for a larger view.

That is one absolutely beautiful jumper.
That is just so cute :):)
You are very clever, well done
Sherrie
Thank you Sherrie. I love the look of cabled jumpers/sweaters, but don't have the patience to create them in knitting. When I found this crochet pattern, I couldn't believe my luck! I really enjoy crocheting the sweater and will be doing more of them in the near future. :-}
Please can you tell me where you got this pattern? - i love it!
That is the cutest baby sweater I have ever seen. Would you please share where we can get this pattern? Thanks!!!! Kathy
Yes! Please link this pattern :)
Sorry for the delay in posting the url of where I got this pattern. I couldn't remember and the pattern is password protected in Adobe PDF and I can not remember the password. But, I did find where I bought it from: http://www.e-patternscentral.com/detail.html?prod_id=5735&cat_id=296&criteria=
I would love to find more of her crochet patterns, but have searched and come up with nothing. So, if anyone else finds more of Lisa Oberdorf's patterns, please post here.
Am I the only one having difficulty with this pattern? I have overcome the American terminology as I am English, but keep going wrong, I presume, on the second row of the body. I cannot see any pattern emerging. Any tips would be appreciated.
Have a look at his tutorial site. There are videos to help with the stitches. I used this site to help me with this pattern. http://www.nexstitch.com/v_crochet_videos.html
